Academic Work is on behalf of our client Envirotainer looking for an Application Manager to their new office in Rotebro, Stockholm.

Envirotainer is a Swedish company, but the business is truly international. One of their greatest competitive advantages is their global network of partners within the freight forwarding and airline industries, as well as their presence at most of the worlds major airports.

Envirotainer offers leasing services of temperature-controlled containers, mainly for the transportation of pharmaceutical products that are sensitive to temperature changes and need a controlled environment during transport. As an Application Manager at Envirotainer you will work in a team of 7 efficient co-workers who cares for their employees. This is a temporary consultant assignment during one of the coworkers maternity leave of six months. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at Envirotainer. The assignment will be full time over 6 months with flexible starting date, but preferably during the summer or late summer. For the right candidate, there will be good opportunities to be extended on the assignment, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.


As an Application Manager at Envirotainer, your focus will be on certain Business IT applications used within Finance and Quality assurance, such as Lasernet, Mediusflow and Opluse. You will be a part of the IT Service Operation department and report to the head of IT Service Operation. You have responsibility for the support and maintenance budget for the applications and other systems in the portfolio.

Your responsibilities in this role are not limited, but for example you will:

* Have a strategic view on the application and customer needs in a short- and long term perspective. Also manage vendors/suppliers related to the applications.
* Secure and follow up on availability and performance of the applications.
* Define documentation, governance plan and roadmaps.
* Have a good understanding of the support cost, licenses, hosting cost and other related costs.
* Act as 3rd line support for the application and take lead in major incidents.
* Perform Change Request assessment and analysis together with Business Relationship Managers.
* Assess technical feasibility and cost estimates for CRs.

You are a person who works independently towards specified targets/goals, but also a team player and support everyone working with and for Envirotainer.


* Are either fluent in English or Swedish, both spoken and written
* Have a relevant education within IT and/or equivalent working experience
* At least 1 year relevant work experience
* Advance skills in Microsoft Office
* Have a thorough understanding of Quality Assurance

It will be considered an additional qualification if you..

* Have a thorough understanding of applications such as Lasernet, Mediusflow or Opluse
* Have more then 1 year relevant work experience
