We are looking for a Head of Group Business Control to AFRY. The function has an important role in providing support to decision making for Group Management and will play a key role in challenging the organization making sure that target and guidelines are met. As Head of Group Business Control you will be a key member of the Finance management team and accountable for developing and leading the function forward as well as being hands-on in producing relevant analysis and presentations.

We believe that the right candidate has a master’s degree in economics, accounting or equivalent with approximately 10 years of experience in business controlling, preferably on a divisional or corporate level. You need to have a strong experience in translating numbers and data into business insight- and impact, on both a corporate and local level.

We search for someone with a lot of enthusiasm and capability. The right candidate needs to be a strategic and analytical thinker who is driven by results and can develop analytical tools and solutions. Moreover, the ideal candidate has proven people and management skills and is not afraid of challenging the organization whilst maintaining good relations to stakeholders across all departments on a global basis. To achieve this, we believe you are highly organized with good prioritizing skills.

This position is placed at AFRY’s head office in Solna and will have two direct reports and will in turn report to CFO.

Main responsibilities

  •         Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  •         Development, and follow up of strategic KPI’s, including Balance Sheet analysis.
  •         Deliver ad-hoc business analysis’, including business cases and financial modelling.
  •         Leading development project within AFRY’s global finance function.
  •         Reporting to management team and board.
  •         Responsible for developing BI- and system solutions.
  •         Leading and supporting various development projects.
