Globally recognised FMCG company|A unique and developing role within demand planning

Om vår klient

Our client is a global FMCG business who have been growing considerable over the last years and are looking to invest in their Supply Chain Planning team.

Arbetsbeskrivning

To calculate and review an unbiased and accurate volume and value forecast using appropriate forecasting methods and market intelligence / historical information for each brand / product.
S&OP - Lead monthly meetings with NAMs and Logistics to challenge and agree consensus forecast to feed into S&OP meetings.
To critically review personal forecasting performance via various KPI's on a brand & sku level.
To implement alert-based planning to highlight and communicate potential supply problems in the short / medium term. To work closely with suppliers to ensure stock is received in line with requirements to maximize availability & service
To plan launches / re-launches ensuring service is maximized while leftovers are kept to a minimum.
To calculate optimal safety stocks using a mixture of statistical / manual approaches in order to maximise product availability and minimize stock holding.
Supply Chain owner for brand to collaborate internally to ensure products are sourced and supplied in most effective and efficient way; generate ideas and project manage value engineering initiatives for brand to reduce costs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong focus on team and collaborative ways of working
Systems - SAP APO Experience (Desirable)
Previous experience in planning role (Desirable)
Advanced Excel Skills (Desirable)
Bsc/Msc in relevant field
Min. 3 years of experience
