Arbetsbeskrivning
Category Manager is responsible for sourcing, developing and maintaining the best sources of supply within the category, considering all aspects of the relationship with suppliers including quality, value and life cycle cost.
Wider responsibilities are described further:
- Keeping total business perspective as main driver, reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and deliver cost savings through sourcing projects as well as TCO processes efficiency improvements
- Support operating companies:
- Be the primary stakeholder for the organization for all issues related to the category and respective suppliers.
- Support with sourcing expertise (sourcing expertise, supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, supplier performance, use of C-buy / Therefore etc.)
- Support C-Buy use in the OPCO by actively working towards suppliers to increase content, improve invoice compliance, supplier activation process, etc.
- Responsibility to communicate about the category and create awareness within the organization
- Support new supplier implementation in the operating company
- Support approved supplier compliance in the operating company
- Category's strategy
- Develop and execute category strategy in cooperation with category's assortment teams and according to Procurement Policy
- Create, lead, and engage category's assortment teams
- Develop category in line with category management methodology
- Manage and develop supplier relations
- Develop suppliers according to the sustainability strategy / framework
- Select suppliers that can act as long-term partners to achieve strategic objectives and growth targets.
- Procurement for the given category:
- Supplier analysis & risk assessment
- Supplier sourcing
- Negotiations and awarding
- Contract management and signing
- Reduce TCO (purchase prices, running cost etc.)
- Support procurement processes as per Group Management Systems implementation
Vem söer vi?
We're looking for the candidate who has:
- Previous strategic sourcing experience
- Knowledge of indirect categories (preferably, Logistics Services, MRO, Service Contracts)
- Ability and willingness to work on a group level with multiple operation companies
- Experience of working in a matrix organization
- Fluent in both English and Swedish
